The Challenge

Commonwealth Dental Group, recently named Top Dentist two years in a row by Boston Magazine, is experiencing steady growth at its practice near Fenway Park. By accepting credit cards in addition to dental insurance, the business was eager to streamline its payment processing system. Commonwealth sought Sekure’s expertise to navigate the complexities of the credit card payment industry and to answer questions about auto-batch processing, statements and banking forms.

The Solution

We began our journey with Commonwealth by listening to their needs and taking action. We contacted Commonwealth’s banking representatives to establish an auto-batch deposit system across multiple accounts. We reviewed Commonwealth’s bank statements to address their questions and tracked down the proper paperwork for deposits. Setting up Commonwealth with an efficient method of payment processing helped the business focus on delivering high-quality dental care and a positive patient experience.

The Results

Customer service made all the difference for Commonwealth. By reviewing Commonwealth’s statements, contacting bank representatives and addressing auto-batching questions, we helped Commonwealth problem-solve a series of multiple, complex issues. Aaron
Pest control
Case Study

Finding a new business software solution, with integrated payment card processing, can be a daunting task for an independent enterprise. Aaron Pest control relied on their partners at Sekure to help guide them through the waters toward the most cost-effective and informed choice.

The Challenge

Aaron Pest Control wanted to upgrade its POS system and save money. But shopping around for new systems can be overwhelming for a small business, not to mention time consuming. Another complicating factor was that industry processor and POS vendors typically don’t work together on an upgrade. How would Aaron Pest Control integrate a new POS system without being caught in the middle?

The Solution

We helped Aaron Pest Control keep things simple. We bridged the gap so the business didn’t need to work with different vendors or figure out which systems were compatible. We integrated Aaron Pest Control’s POS with a gateway that offers secure payments. We found the right vendors, conducted a credit check, and walked the business through the transition—all while delivering a significant cost savings.

The Results

Not only did Aaron Pest Control save time, it also recouped nearly $1,200—or 28 percent—in the first full month of processing. We were with the business every step of the way, reassuring Aaron Pest Control we could save them money and effectively connect the dots for choosing a new payment processing option.

The Challenge

Woodward House, a highly rated bed and breakfast in Virginia, attracts visitors exploring the scenic Shenandoah Valley. The small business connected with Sekure to find a more cost-effective method to process credit card payments from their guests. As a small business, the owners wanted options that would save them money, meet PCI standards, and be integrated with ease.

The Solution

We knew the business wanted first and foremost a new system that could be implemented seamlessly. The innkeepers’ main concern was that a new processor might disrupt operations or affect a guest’s experience when making a payment. Our team made sure the processor for the business was pre-programmed to align with how the bed and breakfast was already running its transactions.

The Results

The Woodward House saved over 10 percent in total credit card acceptance costs by working with Sekure. During the onboarding process, we also helped the business become PCI compliant, relieving the owners from non-compliance fees charged by their previous provider. Helping the innkeepers integrate a new, less expensive system with ease allowed them to focus on being the Shenandoah Valley’s kept secret in hospitality.

c & r johnson
county key service
Case Study

C&R Johnson found themselves in a familiar predicament—just as they help people when they’re locked out, they found themselves locked in… to a terminal lease. Sekure not only assisted in getting the company out of a prohibitive agreement, they also helped upgrade the equipment so C&R can process payments on the go.

The Challenge

C&R Johnson County Key Service, a locksmith business in Kansas, found credit card processing to be expensive, confusing and lacking in customer service. The business was locked into an expensive terminal leasing agreement and found itself contracted with a provider that didn’t match its needs. On top of that, C&R Johnson was looking for a payment processor upgrade but didn’t know where to turn. Finding a way forward that was both cost-effective and easy to understand seemed impossible.

The Solution

We helped C&R Johnson move through several complicated issues by dissolving the terminal leasing agreement and overseeing an upgrade in technology. We also moved the business to a wireless GPRS terminal and sourced another offer to save C&R Johnson additional money on processing costs.

The Results

C&R Johnson saved 10 percent on payment processing costs and saved even more by getting released from a costly terminal lease. The business can now accept credit card payments with a better understanding how payment processing works. For C&R Johnson, that’s key.
